UPPER LEFT COAST COUNSELING

PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT FROM THE COMFORT OF YOUR HOME. ACCEPTING VIRTUAL CLIENTS IN WASHINGTON & IDAHO

I’m here to tell you … IT’S POSSIBLE TO OVERCOME.

You haven’t been taking care of yourself for some time

You may be feeling emotionally numb and using distractions like scrolling through social media to avoid dealing with difficult thoughts and feelings. You may have noticed changes in your relationships with loved ones, your work, and your overall sense of self-worth. These changes can be overwhelming and make it difficult to feel like yourself again.

 Everything is a challenge

You are feeling overwhelmed and that even the simplest tasks can feel like a challenge. You may be telling yourself that you have no reason to feel down or that others have it worse, but this does not change the fact that you are struggling. It is normal to feel overwhelmed and unsure of how to move forward, but you don't have to face these challenges alone.

You want to reach out for support — BUT DON’T

You want to reach out for support but are having difficulty taking that first step. You may be feeling unmotivated and unsure of what you want or enjoy. It can be overwhelming and daunting to open up to loved ones about your true feelings, and you may worry that it will be a burden on them. But it is important to remember that seeking support is a positive and brave step towards improving your well-being.

TODAY, you can choose to do something different

I am here to listen and provide you with the non-judgmental and compassionate support you need. Together, we can work towards a future where you feel more in control of your emotions and able to connect with others in a meaningful way.

ABOUT

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State, I help people find comfort and support during times of change. Whether you're struggling with difficult emotions, challenging relationships, or other issues, I can provide strategies and support. Using client-centered therapy, meaning the therapist serves as a facilitator and guide, helping the client explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe and supportive environment. I use a variety of techniques and interventions, such as active listening, reflective questioning, and empathy, to help the client better understand themselves and their experiences. Together we will identify the tools that fit best into your life. I often use humor in my sessions to help clients feel comfortable and open. For example, I might use a humorous anecdote to illustrate a point or to help clients relax and feel more at ease. My clients often report feeling more comfortable, authentic, and confident after working with me. They are able to apply the skills they learn in our sessions to navigate challenges and make positive changes in their lives.
